TENDER SPROUTS
For Ages 6-12
April 30 - June 6 | 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

We're now offering a 6 week camp-style session for 6-12 year olds. Pack your kids' lunch and drop them off at the farm. Sign up for the entire 6 weeks!

The kids will get hands on with fascinating elements of nature including the wild plants growing as if by magic! Together we will learn about edible and medicinal wild plants and flowers, as well as enjoy unhurried play, joyful projects, and whimsical crafts with no particular "goal" in mind besides to connect with each other & nature in a wholesome, healthy environment. A typical day looks like this:
  • First, we will play outdoors exploring Nature, cultivating the gardens and harvesting the wild plants for tea & projects, along with games and fun.
  • Then, we'll enjoy a healthy snack provided by SBF.
  • Finally, we'll be engaged with fun crafts and cumulative projects utilizing resources provided by Nature.
  • The final half hour of the day will be for eating our bag lunches together, while parents will have the option to arrive during this time to hear stories from the day and observe some of the projects and activities.
